I picked up the ashes of my stillborn baby boy today. What did you do with yours? I wanted to get a small locket necklace that holds ashes.. and otherwise I'm kind of at a loss for what I should do. I've had the box of footprints and his birth certificate in my closet for two weeks and It just feels terribly inappropriate.
I have a burial permit in my possession and I own my home. It's an option but I'd rather not. I kind of feel like spreading the ashes is like throwing away his body. Someone provide me some insight, please!

My daughter-in-law has been given a very sad prognosis for my unborn grandson (27 weeks) ... Today she was simply told "no hope" and given two weeks to decide what to do. He's not growing, yet too small to live in NICU if they take him early. She asked a similar question - what am I supposed to do with him if we lose him? This was my answer... "You have to look into your own heart, Daughter. What is it that soothes your soul?" Though we pray for a miracle, as his Grandmother, I promised her that if she chose cremation, yet couldn't bear the sorrow of having him at home right away, I would gladly keep him for her until she came to the place where she longs to have him with her again.
So, I guess, my answer to you is, ask someone who loves you if they are able to keep him (birth certificate & all) for you until you are ready to bring him home. Your locket idea is precious & obviously shows that you have already taken your first step in knowing what to do. The next step will come in time.
I speak from the experience of a dear friend... the ashes of her daughter's firstborn little girl are lovingly kept in a beautiful urn in a special place in their home and cherished every day. The pain of their loss has faded, but the memory of her little life is with them forever.

Is it alright to keep gifts from an old fiancee who died before we could wed ?Even though i am recently married to someone else?My fiancee Danny was one of the best people i have ever known.He helped me through one of the worst times in my life.Vinny my first bf and everything in HS had broken up with me and broke my heart twice. The last time i was unknowingly pregnant i became depressed went from being 110 pounds(5ft 6) down to 90 pounds and lost the baby.I went on to college became even more shy than in HS and Vinny came back to hound me for a fling while he had a gf(unknown to me).I stupidly agreed that went on for a little over a year leaving me an emotional wreck.Then I met Danny who brought me back to myself we started off as friends then dating .I got engaged to Danny but he was diagnosed with cancer and died soon after.The only sign had been a lump on his back.I have kept the heart locket necklace,3 stuffed animals,ring,charm braclet and cards he gave me in a box in the attic
I am now almost 26 yrs old so its been almost 6 yrs now.I recently had a JP cerimony with my long time bf ,father figure to my 4 yr old and father of my 1.5 yr old son.Is it wrong to have those gifts in the house?
He was someone that was special to you. You need those as keepsakes to remember those times and someone that was there for you. There is no harm in holding on to them. It is comforting for you and all that you have left to remember those times.

Basically, this dream of his was a message sent to him by the spirits that he is about to loose his family and everything that meant anything to him because of his career. Keep in mind, that this song was written at about the same time he was going through a divorce/marital problems. He regrets not spending time with his wife and kids and makes a promise that he will start but never gets around to it. And when he finally realizes the reality of the situation, it is just about too late.
This song touches me deeply because my daughter was a lot like Halley in the song, not wanting me to go and leave her, but I was an OTR truck driver and I'd be gone for a month at a time.

No, but I'm not a rap fan either. I don't think any good mainstream music has come out of Detroit since the Bob Seager/Mitch Ryder era. The closest recent group that's been good and has had international success is the Dirtbombs. The Henchmen, Slumber Party, The Sights, Ko and The Knockouts and The Come On's are some other excellent groups trying to make it in Detroit now.

The people we have grown to love and hate are back and not a moment too soon… Serena gushes over the phone to Blair about her new coupledom with Nate. Blair warns to not rush things with Nate, but both girls get preoccupied with distractions on both ends of the line. Serena spots Damien Daalgard (Kevin Zegar), the guy who Jenny has been doing drug runs for,and we find out that the two of them went to the same boarding school when Serena was M.I.A. from Constance. On the other end of the phone line, Blair comes across an old locket with Bart Bass's picture in it. This is the locket that the mysterious woman at Bart's grave left behind. Blair asks Chuck what's up with it and Chuck brushes it off, which brings Blair to her favorite subject in the world (herself) and how Chuck can help her get into the exclusive society whose name is French and was used as a scheme by Georgina earlier in the school year. After Blair leaves, Chuck gets a text about the broken locket and where to collect the intel from. Mr. Bass never fails with the intrigue, people.
