What does it mean when a young man gets one of those big black circle earrings in his ear lobe?
Mar 30, 2007 by Sue Quinn W | Posted in Fashion & Accessories
uh, you mean they have their ears gauged? Oh yeah that must mean he is either in a cult or on drugs. Stay away from those boys with the dang ol' black earrings.....they drink blood. Perhaps he likes the style? Just a thought.......don't ponder too much.
Kelli | Mar 30, 2007
it probably means he likes it!!! just a thought...
*atomickitty* | Mar 30, 2007
Just that he is rebelious and has his own style.
tallyluver | Mar 30, 2007
It means nothing, probably he saw it some where, like a friend and liked it.
thomasjohn052000 | Mar 30, 2007
It either means he is trying to express himself, be different, or that he is looking for attention (getting noticed)

BIG LOOPY EARRINGS!!! BIG CIRCLES!! ARE THEY STILL 'iN'?
Dec 21, 2006 by LiNDA DO =) | Posted in Fashion & Accessories
they are a fashion staple right now(the plain big hoops) that means they are not in or out they just are wearable , big funky hoops like ones from betsey johnson , u can also find similar ones at target for a lot less, are trendy right now but plain hoops will never go out of style

Oh yeah.
if you have double piercings, then you can put in a hoop and a stud, and it's cute!
But not HUGE loops! If they're hitting your shoulders, then something's wrong.
blankstares | Dec 21, 2006
thin hoops in a gold and silver are in, but door knocker earrings are OUT!!!
mynameis..... | Dec 21, 2006
Yea, peeps still wear them, but no offense, I think they look goofy. God bless ya byes!
Chellie girl | Dec 21, 2006
ya.... but only silver........ and if you can hulahoop in 'im
i think there a little big. dont over do it, dear.
biggy mackkk | Dec 21, 2006
yes i lovethem!
but i don't have any =(
Someone | Dec 21, 2006
It looks as though they're still in but the sizes of them are getting straight up crazy. Silver seems to be the fad color for them...I don't see gold ones all that often.
There is a warning in this...if they are so big that they drag along your shoulder and/or can pass for a freaking bracelet, it's not cute at all. Can't say that I didn't warn you....

hoops are so cute but not the ones that are like "supersized" lol those just look to cheesey lol

Big Loopy Earrings remind me of Chongas...

Hoops have always been a stylish earring choice. Whether it be a small gold hoop, or a large (no bigger than bracelet size) silver one. Hoop earrings are always in style. They also look cute in a medium size with rhinestones (or if possible, diamonds) all around the perimeter.

I like them...but the thin ones if they are BIG! It also depends on your hair style! :)

Why would a teen wears a pair of circle earrings (see through type) that is about 1.2 inch (diameter)?
Sep 30, 2006 by Hermes | Posted in Other - Beauty & Style
I have seen many people like those big earrings but this high school kid was wearing a super big one lol (as big as a water bottle cap), and I know those earrings are stink, and I am wondering if those holes gona heal.
Peer pressure and the feeling of wanting to fit in. There is also the fact that some teens actually like that huge hole in their earlobe and do not fear the thought of a dangerous infection or explanations in later years to grandchildren why they have such different earlobe shapes.......who knows???????
chocoholic_40 | Sep 30, 2006
yes i agree that those are really wierd but they probably do it because they think it looks cool
helerz♥ | Sep 30, 2006
It's their buisness.

It's a monkey-see-monkey-do act. If some actress wears the ear rings, teens imitate them. I just hope all actresses keep their clothes on, otherwise all the impressionable teens will start ripping off their clothes as well!

blame it on austin powers!
neukidintown | Sep 30, 2006
You are talking about those big holes in the earlobe, right? Its creepy! Those holes are so big, dogs could jump thru them! They dont heal, they stay stretched out and hang down if they dont have those big tire rims in their ears.

Should i get circle or square stud earrings?
Nov 09, 2008 by Steven P | Posted in Fashion & Accessories
I have pretty big ears they look at little bit like pharrell's in the way they stick out if that helps
Get circle ones. Squares look kinda weird sometimes.
But you could just get both :D

Where can I buy these earrings?
Sep 18, 2008 by Loves Van Halen | Posted in Fashion & Accessories
I had these earrings and they looked like plugs (gauged earrings), but they weren't. They were a big black circle and it had a pink star in the middle. They were my one of my favorite pairs, but I lost one.
Does anyone know where I could buy them? Should I try hot topic?(although I looked on their website and they weren't there.)
Claries has them.
If you can't find them there check out Icing by Claries.
Sometimes you king find things similar to them at places like Kohls!
