I ask because I stayed in a well known brand recently and was disappointed. They are well known for quality and luxury yet the window was held on with sticky tape! I look forward to your answers

(Added 1 day later - it was a Hilton I stayed in and would now rather stay in another brand)
I love the Marriott, not courtyard, just plain Marriott!

Lol - Hilton came to mind, but I've never stayed in one! Over here in NZ we have a line called Copthorne Resorts and they are nice.

I stayed in the W in New York recently. The bed was amazingly luxurious. Everything was beautiful and clean. It was a great experience.

You have many many good hotels such as:
- Hilton
- Ritz
- Grand Hyatt
- Marriott
- Shangri la (my favorite)
and Holiday Inn.. although i didnt think it deserved 5 stars.. more like 3 or 4..

I have stayed in very nice hotels/motels from Motel 6 to super 8 to Hilton, to Raddison, Best Western, Holiday Inn and more. Some of the less costly one have actually been nicer that the most costly ones. If you are just going to sleep in a place why not get one of the less costly places. If you are expecting more than that you can pay more, but I have been disapointed. ( hav e stayed in a Hilton which had no more amenities than the motel 6. look on the net and call ahead or check their amenities before you get there. Do they have bell boys? do they have room service, how far to the pool, which restaurants are close? Ask about Security! Heat issues, noise levels, Any other concerns you may have about Handicap accessibility etc.

Luxury: Four Seasons
Upper: Hilton. Marriot
Mid: Holiday Inn Express.
Modest: Super 8.
All of that said, I tend to read trip advisor prior to booking any location. My other tips: inspect your room upon check in and ask to be moved if it is truly not acceptable. Consider changing hotels if it is not acceptable. For me, location matters a great deal.

You may want to check out a different website. I never had much luck selling jewelry on ebay. I have sold a lot of things on ebay, but jewelry sales just didn't happen.
I can recommend a site to you that is reputable to sell your gold on. It was featured in USA Today, it is a great company.

I don't know about affordable, but the only thing that any of the men I know will use is a Stihl. That's the brand, and it's not exactly cheap BUT a chainsaw isn't something you want to go breaking on you, either.
