How to pick SILVER?

I want to get my Mom a genuine silver bracelet or anklet, but I have no idea how to select high quality silver. Is sterling silver just a fancier name for real silver? What's the difference between silver and platinum besides the fact that platinum is more expensive? Any other tips are welcome! Thanks a lot.

You should go to a reputable Jewelry store in your area. The difference between Silver and Platinum is the color (platinum is more of a slightly bluish silvery color) and Platinum is way more precious and harder to come by. Silver is more durable and platinum is a little softer. Most genuine silver pieces have a stamp (925) denoting the weight of silver as opposed to other metals in the piece. Good Luck! I recommend Zales or Kay to find a good piece. For a median alternative to either platinum or silver (more expensive than silver less expensive than platinum try going with white gold!)

How should I ask my Best Friend to whip my feet as a punishment for Breaking her Vase
Ok here is my situation I feel Like I need to be Punished b/c i broke my firends Expensive Vase so I feel like I need a Punishment and I found out about Whipping of the Feet or Falaka as a Punishment and I feel that the Falaka will do the job as my punishment How should I ask my best friend to whip my feet as a Punishment and what should I wear when the get Punished

That depends on how expensive or priceless the vase is. But first, ask your friend if falaka would appease him/her or would he/she prefer that you replace the vase or pay for a new one. You may feel duly punished but your friend may not be gratified so better ask first.

If he/she insist on falaka:
wear white shorts (repentent)
no shoes or socks (falaka must be inflicted on the skin)
use a belt whip, leather shoe horn or horse whip (easy to handle)
no accessories if possible (but if you insist, a large chain)

Wearing the toe ring as a reminder and for how long will depend on your friend.
