April 7, 2009 "Ulit" performed by Maya's Anklet at Nine Mile Bar Vox - Tricky Asperin Lead/Effects - Joshua Villena Guitar - Justin ...

They are like big, thick bracelets. You weave them and they then shrink in water and are bound to your arm. Most are tan colored and people wear them as anklets and bracelets. They are also more popular in the East Coast.
What are they called, if they have a name?
Plus, exactly what kind of cotton string are they made from?
Which arm or leg should you wear a bracelet and anklet. And give the me reason why.
I've heard that wearing an anklet on your right ankle means you are single and looking and left means you are taken. I haven't heard of any rules for bracelets. I think you just wear them to balance out your jewelry on whatever arm feels more comfortable.
I wear lots of bracelets and bangles in the summer (5+). I usually have them on both arms, but most on my left. I have two anklets on my right ankle, one I made out of twine and the other is made of shells and beads that I bought at the beach last summer. I love wearing all of these in the summer. They look cute with casual clothes.
Every woman I know owns at least one bracelet or necklace, usually they own many, so why are anklets so rare in comparison? I have a large collection myself and I always wear one or sometimes two round each ankle, but I have only seen a very small number of other women do this. A lot of women will wear more than one arm bracelet, so why not ankle bracelets as well? I also occasionally wear a slender gold bangle round my ankle, but I've only ever seen two other women do this, why is that? I think anklets look very feminine and sexy as long as they're not over done.
ithink this is because years ago you were classed as a prostitute if you wore an ankle bracelet... stupid i know ...but its still lingering with other things that passed from...olden days when people were " prim and proper" and the class status was important... but its gradually phasing out and so it should .... some things take longer than others tho ... but wear yours and enjoy they do look really pretty ....

Some tattoos look okay on women, but sometimes the butterfly on the back and anklets get boring. If a woman had her whole arms covered in tattoos would it be cool or just too butch??
I agree,too butch.
I have one tatoo, which i`ve never regretted, but can`t say i`d get anymore. If you`re thinking of a tattoo my advice is to get something you know you`ll always like, don`t just go with the latest fad.
(I know I said I’d post this yesterday, and it’s technically TODAY, but life got a little busy. But hopefully the length of this post “makes up” for it. I won’t even tell you how many pages this is on Word lol.)
Because I am aiming for the dork-of-the-year award, I have purposely split my watching of this episode over two nights. I mean, I like this show so much that I don’t feel like watching any of the other shows I’m in the middle of. WHICH IS STUPID! But… I love this show. Have I mentioned that yet?
And I’m actually really surprised to learn that some people are actually reading my commentary posts, because I feel like they’re pretty embarrassingly pointless. I will try my best to up my writing and work at making them more comprehensible. I also want to write more than just initial thoughts, so I am going to try out appending my original writings with more contemplative opinions (re: fangirling).
Tuesday night: UH, now is definitely not the time to watch anything (it’s bed time!), but I will give into this show any day of the week.
I will definitely watch until there is a good stopping point though, because I want to watch some tomorrow night too.
Wednesday night: I have been dying to watch this all day!
Episode 6. Spoilers!
Haha, I wanted to watch so I could know what was going on! THE SHIRT REMOVAL SCENE! Although I suspect he’s just going swimming LMAO. Haha, yeah! Jun-pyo is so funny. He knew he exactly what he was doing
(Am I the only girl in the world who doesn’t go crazy over a shirtless guy? Yeah, it’s a bit more rare to see in Asian dramas, and the fan-serviceness of it all can illicit a few chuckles, but… I don’t know. I’m like. “OH. It’s… just a chest.” HAHA, Jun-pyo is unfortunately no exception for this thinking, but I think it’s extremely amusing at how funny this scene played out. Poor Jan-di keeps thinking that Jun-pyo is a complete wolf. But you have to admit that throughout the episode, it’s hard to tell what his intentions are until he mentions them later.)
